1.2D detection technology
2D detection technology is a relatively basic mould dimension measurement technology, which is suitable for some simple mould dimension measurements. It is usually achieved through a projector or an optical comparator, and mainly measures the basic dimensions of the mould, such as length, width, and height. This method is simple and easy to use, but its scope of application is limited, and some complex mould dimensions cannot fully meet the needs.
2.3D Scanning Technology
3D scanning technology is a high-precision mould dimension measurement technology that uses a laser or optical scanner to perform 3D scanning on the mould surface to obtain the mould's true shape and dimension data. This method can achieve all-round measurement of the mould, including the dimension measurement of curved surfaces and complex structures, and can accurately restore the shape and size of the mould. It is a commonly used measurement technology in modern injection moulding.
3.Digital Measurement Technology
Digital measurement technology is a mould dimension measurement technology based on numerical calculation. It uses digital measuring instruments to measure the dimensions of the mould and converts the data into numerical values for analysis and calculation. This method can achieve high-precision dimension measurement, calculate various data of the mould and generate a digital model, and has a good effect on the measurement of complex moulds.
4.Laser measurement technology
Laser measurement technology is a non-contact mould dimension measurement technology that uses a laser sensor to scan the mould surface and measure the mould's three-dimensional shape and dimension data. This method is suitable for high-precision dimension measurement and can measure curved surfaces and complex structure moulds. It has the advantages of fast measurement speed and high accuracy.
5.CT Scanning Technology
CT scanning technology is an advanced mould dimension measurement technology that uses X-ray or X-ray CT scanners to scan the mould and obtain the internal and external three-dimensional data of the mould. This method can achieve all-round dimension measurement of complex moulds, detect defects and structural information inside the mould, and is a very comprehensive mould measurement technology.
